We had lunch at this restaurant after our bike ride on le P'tit Train du Nord. The service was not great, with some staff members being indifferent and a bit unfriendly. One server, a tall, thin man, seemed to be having a rough time juggling dishes and getting orders wrong. However, a female server was much more competent. The food was decent but nothing outstanding - the pizza crust was incredibly thin, almost like a cracker. Despite asking for salad dressing on the side, our request was ignored. Additionally, kitchen staff were smoking outside, leading to cigarette smoke wafting into the restaurant. If given the choice, we would probably choose to dine elsewhere. The locals seemed to enjoy the patio though.
Located at the southern entrance of Le P'tit Train du Nord, this café offers homemade muffins, soup, sandwiches, and more. We enjoyed a hearty lunch here before embarking on a 4-hour bike ride. The café is small with an outdoor patio and charming, simple décor. The staff was friendly, though our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak French, we still managed to have a delicious meal. I highly recommend trying this place if you're in the area. Next time I visit, I'll be sure to take a photo to share here.
This café has one of the loveliest terraces, where you can enjoy your coffee without any noise from cars or traffic. They also offer a great selection of drinks.
