Holly's is a secret gem of a local diner that serves mouth-watering fish and chips. Our server, Michelle, was incredibly friendly and attentive.
Great place for that Sunday morning brunch or any other time really. Small, quaint, and just plain good food and good service.
After spending some time at the Kingston Farmer's Market this lovely Saturday morning, we decided to forgo breakfast at the market and took a nice drive through the country to Holly's Restaurant in Hampton. Good choice, as they serve breakfast all day Saturday (which I heard others ordering too). Two eggs, 2 slices toast, fried potatoes, bacon plus coffee for $6.95. Just a good honest breakfast at a decent price in a comfy, quiet setting.
We ordered food from this restaurant, which is usually really good. When we were about to eat, we realized that our portion of fries were very small, only about 15-20 fries each(yes, we counted). When we ordered the exact same thing the last time we were there, the portions were much bigger. My wrap was poorly made this time, veggies tasted uncooked, freezer burnt taste almost. When we called just to give them a heads up on this, the woman on the line told us we should have ask for a full order of fries, and just wanted us off the phone. We have never had any bad service before this time, but today has made me never want to go back there.
