Farniente - Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer

On our camping holiday, we'd visited this beach and liked the look of this private beach bar

We had a wonderful evening at the Farniente restaurant. Good service en delicious food. We can absolutely recommend this place. We will definitely come back.

This is a little out of town with lots of parking .... important in Saintes Maries!Right on the beach so has a great ambience. We had the Bouillabaise Royal. so large that we could only manage about half! It was good. Service us very good and helped to mak it a charming evening.

Farniente was recommended and we went with friends for lunch.It is the in fantastic location on the beautiful beach at st Marie de la mere and despite being beach side was spotlessly cleanOn arrival reception was very friendly even though the restaurant was extremely busy and absolutely buzzing .We were promptly shown to our well laid out and again spotless table .Our meal was was faultless we all had fish and seafood with veg which was fresh ,well seasoned and beautifully cooked and at €22 ,whilst not cheap,it was fantastic value for money .After service ,the final touch for me ,was the head chef visited all the tables To enquiry if everything was ok with the food .I can't recommend this restaurant enough it was superb and they even had Stella Artois on draft perfect.

Parked near by in our Motorhome and fell upon this restaurant by accident. What a lovely find. The food was excellent and our waitress helped us with the menu. First class.
