After driving for over 14 hours, we were exhausted and desperate. We decided to sleep in our car when we came across Midtown Motor Inn. We approached Mr. Moulten, who unfortunately informed us that the motel was full. Feeling hopeless, I explained our situation and asked if it was possible to park in the hotel parking lot to rest in our car for a bit. To our relief, Mr. Moulten showed us kindness and allowed us to park there. After a few minutes, he returned and offered us an uncleaned room for free. Grateful for his generosity, we accepted and were provided with a clean sheet. We were so fortunate and touched by Mr. Moulten's compassion. We will never forget his kindness and will always be thankful. - A couple from Sydney
During my recent stay in midtown, I had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant owned by Richard and Tom. They went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area. Great service and delicious food!
I have visited this restaurant many times in the past, but the new owners have truly improved it this time! They have introduced new equipment and there are even more improvements on the way. The location is fantastic, with beautiful Goodhridge Lake just a short walk away. The continental breakfast is ample and delicious, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I am in the Gippsland region.
Do not leave children alone as a male owner, about 40 I guess was with my 8-year-old daughter that she was so scared that we could not stay and leave immediately.
My husband stays at the motel when he's away for work. He makes sure he's there when the restaurant is open as he loves the food made by their chef.
