During my visit to a nearby business, I grabbed a quick lunch at this restaurant. They had a good selection and the service was fast. The pies and pastries were average, but the chocolate florentine was large and very sweet, perfect for someone with a sweet tooth like me.
The service was usual. can not eat pork for religious reasons, so when I asked if the cake contained pork, the woman there worked a very rude and sassy note so that I feel like an idiot. the quality of food was less than average. ordered the...Mushroom and steak pie and was very disappointed. I traveled around victoria and visited a full of bakers and caffes, and that was at a distance one of the worst. people, save your $ and look elsewhere.
I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and a delicious slice of carrot cake. There were many options to choose from on the menu. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.
I've been here twice before and love the place. Their pies and pasties are the best and I would say this is my favourite of all bakeries I've been to anywhere in Vic and SA. Today I had a steak and mushroom pie with real...chunks of meat and mushies. All for $4.50, so that's real value. Service could not be faulted. Don't drive past without grabbing something.
