I've been going here since I was a baby and I love this place the food is great and everything else is to.
The decor was old-fashioned and a bit dirty, but the food was satisfying. The restaurant was affordable and had friendly and attentive staff, although the cutlery was not entirely clean.
This was my first time visiting this cafe. I noticed it was quite busy as I walked by and decided to give it a try. I ordered bacon on toast and was pleased with the fast and friendly service from the numerous staff members. However, I was disappointed with the food itself. The bacon on toast arrived quickly, but I found only two small pieces of bacon on a large portion of toast that was overly saturated with butter. I had higher expectations for the quality of the food.
My three sons and I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, ever since my boys were babies. It truly feels like a second home to us. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently high quality and served promptly. While the café could use a modern update, we still love it and so do my boys. I highly recommend visiting this café if you are in the Salford precinct.
