A very nice place for brunch. we had the salomon bagel that was good, but could be made to house. the banane banane banoffe pancake was very delish. her coffee is also good.
Large coffee shop in the mediacity. it is very bright in the inner, with large floor-facing windows make two of the four walls. the interieur is in a minimalist style, dominated by colors like white, gray and black. it does not feel hostile. there are two floors, the upper floor is only accessible via a staircase, but the ground floor can be accessible on a wheelchair. the music in the inner is on a louder side, so I don't think it's a real place if they like to read or focus with a cup of coffee. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. they make an order as they come, pay and then wait until they get to their table. the service can be slow, but not because there is no one interested, only no one is in a hurry. the flat white I ordered was super, very smooth and creamy. the drink size is quite small, but the taste makes up for it. the baker was also great. the prices are just slightly higher than in dieucks or costa coffee, but the quality is excellent. Overall I think it is a large coffee shop for a cup of good coffee and friendly service.
I wanted to go to costa when I discovered this place. ordered a flat white from the flea mouse, which was excellent barista’ed, including the weighing of the fresh loop. delicious creamy, good strength and no hauch of bitterness. eier benedikt was also delicious and fresh. to love something sweet afterwards, went for another flat white and a piece of cake and nutcake. the cake was the only disappointment that came cold (probably from the storage in the refrigerator) and a little on the dry side. otherwise excellent service and I will be back tomorrow for coffee
This is one of my favourite stops for a light lunch, whilst cycling around Manchester and Salford. Staff and friendly and helpful and the food is AMAZING. Great options for the vegetarians and vegans, as well as those carnivores. Something delicious for everyone and at a reasonable price too. And don’t forget the freshly ground coffee. Tea and green tea also available, but I was swayed by the aroma of those roasted beans and was not disappointed. Bike racks opposite to lock your bike, which can easily be seen from inside Grindsmith, wherever you choose to sit. Worth a visit, even if you’re not cycling.
