Sweetie's Sandwich Shop - Salida

The Med sandwich on sourdough was way better than what I was expecting. This place has great customer service too.

Unfortunately as the other reviews say, there is one vegan option (hummus sandwich with sprouts) out of like 30 sandwiches on the menu. It's fine.. simple yet tasty. However just crappy to only ever have one option. Sour dough bread is good.

One vegan option. Server didn’t even know what would constitute as vegan which made me wonder about some of the finer ingredients. They do however have sourdough bread which we assumed was vegan as they didn’t know...we had something called The Med very basic sandwich with hummus, lettuce and tomato. Was nice tasting but really wasn’t impressed.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Colorado. The staff is very nice and welcoming. If it's your first time trying this place, I recommend ordering the Biggie Sweets and the Red Headed Reuben. The ginger in the Reuben has no ginger taste at all, making it almost like cabbage and perfect for a Reuben! It's so delicious.

Sweetie is fantastic. You must go and experience it for yourself. For those who are gluten-free, the gluten-free bread is incredibly tasty and I can't get enough of the gluten-free brownies for dessert!
