Le Park Avenue - Salies-du-Salat

We waited one hour at the table before they even came to get our order. I gave them one star but they don’t even deserve it. I don’t recommend that place at all.

With a welcoming smile like Basil Fawlty and the slowest service in the universe I would give this restaurant a wide berth. 20 mins to order and a thinly veiled curt distain for foreigners made this dining experience amusing for its absurdity. We ate in so many great restaurants on this trip that this one is not worth the wait. The menu de jour was sold out and what we ordered was full of substitutions. 55 minutes to get food. Not quite cutting it.

Always upstairs. A big duck on Friday. An effective smiling staff. I recommend it.
