¡La foto lo dice todo! ¡Felicidad absoluta! ¡Excelente servicio, ambiente, y la comida salió rápido! Leyenda, que por cierto, en la foto del menú parece un plato más pequeño, para 2-3 personas, resultó ser más de lo que esperábamos. Es una rara excepción a la regla de que lo que se ordena se ve mejor en el menú que lo que se recibe. La bebida de agua dulce, que pedí, me invitó a una segunda ronda, y el friito de Aserrí hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Si hubiera más estrellas disponibles, se las daría. ¡Esta fue nuestra primera visita de muchas más que haremos mi esposa Ileana y yo! ¡Es una promesa!

First open 30 plus years ago. A bit pricey but is a very popular place for the locals. there is a bus from san jose that will drop you off right in front.take the one that says Mercdes Aserri. aserri

Their quality of chicharrones fried pork hasn 't changed with the years however they are still an expensive place, we (two people) paid for 1 coke, one lemonade, and a plato surtido (kind of a sampler plate) almost $40 again quality was good can 't even think in complying about taste or portions size.

The place is very nice, but for a serving for 2 people of around 18000 CRC you can expect a lot more, even if the service is very welcoming. For dry chicharrones with dry yucca and plantain and a few cheap tortillas, sauces from disposable mini packages are offered, and not even a decent chimichurri or coleslaw. For this money you can easily get 4 large portions of Chicharrones in typical restaurants like this one. Unfortunately very disappointing ....
