Central Cafe - Salzburg

Das neue alte Café Central ist einfach super geworden, nach dem Großbrand - es ist ein Wohnzimmer mit super Personal, leckerem Essen und Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Super Sache auch, dass jede Woche unterschiedliche Mittagsmenüs angeboten werden zu vernünftigen Preisen. Kein Wunder, dass die Stammgäste ihren Weg direct wieder zurück gefunden haben, nachdem es wieder eröffnet wurde. Ich bin gerne dort!!!

Essen super, Service auch, sehr gefragt und daher gut besucht... Küche wirklich sehr gut, Koch kommt hie und da um nachzufragen, alles in allem super Location... :o)

The waiter brought us into an almost empty room (non-smoking). It was like in a library, no ambient noise, no music. The menu was stained and sticky. The burger was terrible, almost like no part had actually been handmade. The Veggieburger was almost funny, how bad it was. Gordon Ramsay would have a picnic here. The only life in place was drinking from the three people in the bar and watching football.

We saw the sign outside for this restaurant and were interested in the special (panragus, ham and Hollandaise sauce). The food was fine, but we were very surprised that they didn't take credit cards. Luckily we had some money with us, but the bill cleaned us up. It's the 21st. Century for heaven's sake, what about money?

We visited here on our way to visiting the Old Town and found the food, coffee and service both great and reasonably priced
