Contribuisci feedbackThe best eggplant Parmigiana on the island, no question! The eggplant is sliced incredibly thin, almost like Greek phyllo dough. It's the most delicious I've ever tasted.
We didn't have a reservation, but Nonna Cucina Rustica is just as good or even better than the top traditional Italian restaurants in NYC. Every dish we've tried there...
I really enjoyed my dining experience at this quaint restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The menu offers a unique twist on traditional Italian dishes, with everything made from scratch.
As always, the service and eating are incredible. a must!
I tried this place because of a recommendation from a colleague and it did not disappoint. It is rustic, but upscale. Service was excellent, the house wine was very drinkable, and the food was . . . not just delicious, but different. It is an Italian place, but they have things on the menu like duck and pear ravioli (which I almost tried) and lamb lasagna (which I ordered). The lasagna was very, very good . . . flavorful, not gamey. My friend tells me that the vegetable lasagna is very good as well. So maybe next time I will try that . . . or the ravioli.
