Bear Coast Coffee - San Clemente

Excellent coffee, perfect location, and friendly staff—what more could you want?

The place is nice for hanging out while you're at the beach, but I can't say the same about the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, and the taste was quite off—it had a strange mix of "coffee" and a weird citrus flavor. I'm not sure if it was the coffee or the homemade almond milk, but it was undrinkable, and I ended up having to throw it away.

The food was quite good, but the drinks were exceptional! I would recommend visiting this place for the atmosphere and excellent service more than just for the standard menu.

Do yourself a favor and patronize Bear Coast next time you're down by the pier! Bear Coast is a small south OC chain, and some of the best coffee you can find. VERY reasonably priced as well. Located in the spot of the old Beach Garden Cafe, BC is very convenient to anyone going to the pier. Paid street and lot parking nearby. It can get pretty busy on weekend mornings, but if you don't mind a little wait, totally with it!
