Chaupain Bakery - San Clemente

This bakery is fantastic. Being able to walk to the beach afterwards really enhanced the overall experience.

Amazing pastries. Kind workers. Kind of a frustrating counter set up, making it hard to get past the line to the bathroom or grab your drink.

Absolutely the best bakery hands down!!! My husband and I had a lovely lunch there. The French Toast was excellent with fresh berries and whipped cream! My husband ordered a breakfast burrito which he really loved. We also ordered 2 pastries, a cheese danish and a strawberry danish. Yum!!!?. This was on Del Mar in San Clemente! I highly recommend!!!

This bakery is truly exceptional, tucked away in a modest storefront. It offers a wide variety of items that are just as delicious, if not better, than Bakery Neauveau in Seattle, which has been crowned the best bakery in America and won first place internationally. It's truly remarkable. While San Clemente has another French bakery and bistro called Moulin with a great atmosphere and superb food, Chaupon offers some of the most incredible dishes I've ever tasted, even rivaling the best that Paris has to offer. If you think this review is exaggerated, think again. Treat yourself and pay a visit to Chaupon.
