Oc Tavern - San Clemente

We were delighted to discover delicious and healthy salads at this restaurant. If we were local, we would definitely return. The staff was fantastic, there were plenty of TVs, and we loved this place!

The bartender at this restaurant accused me of leaving without paying, even though I had left money with a 20% tip along with my beer glass. She followed me into the parking lot and yelled at me until I returned to the bar to prove that I had paid in full. Despite counting the money and seeing that it was all there, she refused to admit her mistake. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can't help but feel like the establishment has racist undertones. However, a young man who claimed to be the manager (DaN) apologized for the misunderstanding and handled the situation well. Overall, I would suggest avoiding this place unless you are from San Clemente.

We are regular happy hour attendees at this restaurant and often hang out at the bar, enjoying the view of the experienced blond bartender. Although we previously had beer here a year ago, on this occasion we did not see anyone eating at the restaurant.

I had several Mexican dishes for lunch, and the taste was exceptional. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. The off-track satellite pitch was packed and a fun entertainment experience.

Love this place! Pizza was awesome and so was the calamari. My kids loved the Mac and cheese. Drinks were good and well priced. Will definitely be back!
