Rancho Capistrano Winery-san Clemente

As for the food, it was decent but nothing extraordinary. The fig bruschetta and avocado toast were just okay— quite basic and lacking any wow factor, which was a bit disappointing because they had potential to be much better. The watermelon salad was tasty, and the lemon parmesan fries were delightful, although it was odd that they were served with ranch and ketchup. Like many places these days, the prices felt a bit steep. The town itself is adorable, but I think next time we’ll explore another restaurant.

Our server, who was also the bartender, did an exceptional job. He was patient with our wine selections and offered us a taste of a particular wine that we didn’t enjoy. However, he suggested another option that we absolutely loved. He was attentive and had a great sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed the Crab Stack special, but the Ribeye was out of this world delicious. Excellent work, Capistrano Winery and staff!

My friends and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty, and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing. The service was exceptional, and we were thoroughly impressed by the entire staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely be returning!

Great location in downtown San Clemente. Staff were friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. Food was on point; good flavors and well seasoned. Fantastic selection of wine as well.
