I savored a wonderfully packed, fresh, and flavorful lobster roll that was accompanied by delicious baked beans and coleslaw. Each bite was simply delightful! If you’re in the mood for a rich bisque, make sure to try their 50/50 – you definitely won’t regret it! Finally, I always appreciate feeling welcomed wherever I go, and I must mention that the adorable and cheerful couple who owns the restaurant radiates warmth with their big smiles and positive vibes. WHAT A PLACE!
This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure! I enjoyed an incredible bowl of clam chowder with the special 'secret sauce.' To quench my thirst, I had a refreshing ice-cold Arnold Palmer. The owner is friendly and clearly passionate about his food. We are definitely planning to return for the lobster roll and the delightful bread bowl!
Last night was finally the night, and we brought four friends with us. Each couple opted for the Trio for Two, which costs $67 and includes a lobster roll, a crab roll, and a shrimp roll, along with four sides (Cape Cod chips, coleslaw, baked beans, and a beverage). If ordered separately, this would total around $80, making it quite a bargain. Plus, they conveniently cut the rolls in half for easy sharing. The rolls feature a traditional New England “top sliced” hot dog bun that is buttered and grilled to perfection. Each roll is packed with generous portions of meat, especially the crab roll, which was particularly delicious. You can choose to sit at small outdoor tables along the sidewalk or at larger tables in the American restaurant next door, where you can also order adult beverages. Overall, it’s excellent food and a great discovery in Old Town!
Best lobster roll, lobster Mac n cheese, and chowder lobster bisque combo soup I have ever had! The owner is so friendly and accommodating we had a party of 7 and he brought out an extra table and chairs for us to use even after he was closed. I really appreciated his kindness and was so glad we got to try the food. We will definitely be back!
I'm assuming it was the owner who served me. He was really nice and cracked a few jokes while I was ordering. It was my first time having a lobster roll. $30 seemed kinda crazy for 1 roll, it's size, and the amount of meat you get, but I had to try it while on vacation. Two small sides are included. The beans were ok, but the blue cheese slaw was great. The cioppino was a pretty small bowl, and the shellfish seemed a bit overdone. I had to try it though to see what the rave was all about. It just didn't hit the spot for me personally.
