U-swirl Frozen Yogurt - San Clemente

Absolutely amazing! I really wish they had a location in RSM, but I can confidently say this spot is worth the drive. They offer unique flavors like coconut and banana froyo, which are definitely hard to find anywhere else. The self-serve setup is convenient, as they provide napkins and gloves for pulling the levers. The place is very clean, and the girl with red hair was super friendly. Toppings are served in little pre-packaged cups, and they even gave me a wrapped spoon. It seems like they share space with another store, which adds to the charm—while I was there, the delightful smell of candy being made filled the air! I’ll definitely have to swing by again for a caramel apple next time. Thanks to the folks at Uswirl!

This restaurant is quite dirty and unsanitary. The weigh station was filthy, and when I brought it to their attention, they simply wiped it down with a wet rag without any cleaner, which did not effectively remove the grime. Additionally, they were out of strawberry yogurt but didn't bother to restock it or put up a sign to inform customers. The gentleman serving us was also quite rude.

At a couple of other Uswirl locations, we were either offered or requested a 10-15% discount for celebrating our daughter's birthday. However, during our visit to the San Clemente location, a young man who claimed to be the owner refused to provide any discount. This would have only resulted in a temporary loss of $10-15 for him. If he had granted us the discount, we would have likely become loyal customers, returning for birthdays and regular visits that could have totaled over $500 in revenue. Instead, we've chosen to go to Golden Spoon and Yogurtland, completely avoiding Uswirl. Even after accounting for operating costs, the $500 we would have spent would have far outweighed the small amount of $10-15 that could have helped foster a positive customer relationship and repeat business. In the future, when a customer requests a group discount, the owner should consider the potential long-term benefits and understand the importance of guest relations and customer retention. This seems to be the only way to respond on Google. We previously lived in Boise, Idaho, and visited Uswirl locations there frequently. Are you the young man we interacted with during our visit? The frozen yogurt here is absolutely delicious! It's a fantastic spot for families and kids to enjoy some quality time together. However, during my visit today, the young lady at the cash register had a bit of an attitude. Unfortunately, the customer service felt rude, and I left feeling unappreciated as a customer.
