Hanul Korean Food Corner - San Jose

This charming family-owned restaurant serves genuine Korean comfort food. I tried the black bean noodles with pork and the seafood pancake, both of which were delicious. The fresh kimchi was a great addition, though I did have to request some extra side dishes. I’ll definitely be returning!

You can really tell that the owner is mindful of extra expenses and efforts. This is a small, family-run restaurant with an old interior, featuring crooked wall decorations and average food. The pancakes and fried rice lacked flavor and had no frying aroma whatsoever. Additionally, this is the first Korean restaurant I've encountered that mentions on the wall that customers need to ask for small dishes, rather than having them provided at the start.

Wow! This place is so authentic and absolutely delicious! I can't wait to visit again from Watsonville, CA! Their kimchi soup is unforgettable! My daughter really enjoyed the ramen, and my friend loved the fried rice. I'm now completely obsessed with the seafood pancake! You have to try everything!
