L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - San Jose

I always order at this place about once a week through DoorDash for my boyfriend and I’s work lunch and it never disappoints. One regular chicken katsu (BIG portion) can feed both of us with still some leftovers left.

I have never been disappointed with the service or food.

I wish I took pictures but we were on the go and in a rush. The wait was pretty long, but the food tasted great and was super fresh (worth the wait). Portions were huge except for the garlic shrimp but that's expected. We ordered 4 plates one of which was a healthier option (brown rice was yummy too) 3 drinks and 2 musubi total was around $80. Prices were a bit high considering its L&Ls (could be because of inflation or location or both) despite all that I'd come again!

Ordered the katsu chicken curry. Amazing portion size for only $15. 1 takeout is enough for 2 people. Good service and was given a generous amount of sauce and scoops. Highly recommend and will be coming back often!

Their musubi's are but my all time favorite is the short rib plate
