The lamb chops are simply amazing. The was cooked well and bursted with flavors. We tried their tacos both chicken and lamb. Great flavor on both, not the usual tacos, so we really liked them. Their pav bhaji was great and the bread was different. Fire roasted shrimp was a hit among friends and worth trying again. Cocktails were really well presented and tasted great. We got the peaberry cocktail and the forbidden fruit and they tasted as good as they looked.Patio seating was definitely the star of the night. Not to discount their indoor setup, which was far superior to most restaurants in the area, but the patio is really welcoming. I suggest making reservations in advance like we did so you get seating of your choice, as it tends to get busy around 7.30. Yes, I'd revisit for a good meal and celebrating an occasion.
We found this new Indian restaurant close to home earlier this week. From the photos and Yelp, it looked nice and chic so we decided to try it. They have an amazing outdoor seating area and an incredibly amazing indoor space too. We chose to sit out (from the photos you’ll know why). We ordered Dahi Chaat puri, it arrived fairly quickly. Puri was great, all the flavors burst in the mouth in harmony as it should. For main course, we went for Pyar Chicken Curry and Shahi Paneer with truffle garlic naan and Charcoal naan. All the food was delicious. My husband liked the truffle naan better and I liked the charcoal one, so there’s something for everyone. We ended the evening with Mango Creme brûlée, it comes highly recommended (on Yelp and Google reviews) so we decided to order it. It’s super creamy and smooth and has a surprise element at the bottom which will take you back to your childhood. Drinks are fantastic here, I highly recommended coming here for a group gathering or even a date night.
So I'm a little late for this review. I ordered takeout sometime back. Let me start by saying that the presentation was really great, even for takeout. Probably the best looking food right out of the takeout boxes. We ordered the Pyar Chicken Curry, Pickled Eggplant Mango Plate, Garlic Truffle Naan, Pyar Charcoal Naan, Pani Puri and Mango Creme Brulee. Everything tasted real good, specially the naans. They added an Indian touch to the Mango Creme Brulee by using Parle-G (cookies with glucose). Cant wait to dine in here to enjoy the full experience.
Terrible food at this place. Their Malai Boti Chicken was cold, laced with minced green chillies, no malai/creme, no salt, no other spices. I have never tasted such horrible malai boti kabab in my life. I had to guzzle down a couple of glasses of water to normalize. The butter chicken feels like someone emptied a can of tomato sauce/puree with yogurt on charred pieces of tasteless chicken. I have no idea how this place can manage to serve such low quality food and get by. Avoid, go to the Sunnyvale side for good Indian food.
