The Kickin' Crab - San Jose

The atmosphere was ok. They played decent music. The first waitress was excellent but the service after was below average. I went for the food and if I could give a negative star review I would. The pictures are of what first came and the second picture is of what I left on the table. Garlic noodles were decent and that’s being nice. The crawfish you could EASILY tell they had been frozen for awhile and I felt nauseous after eating it. One of them were BROWN and old. I love seafood but would NEVER go here again.

The food was great, all the seafood was fresh, served hot . One major thing that I didn't like was they charged for a glass of tap water. It was only 50¢ but it was the idea of them charging for water that came out of the faucet. There were 10 of us that dined , so that was an additional $5.00. Kind of a ripoff. I don't think I'll be going back.

Food and staff are great! I only wish their bathrooms were cleaner but everything else was great!

We just moved back from the east coast and we were excited to come to one of our regular restaurants. My family of three came for an early dinner on a Sunday. It wasn't as busy as I expected it to be, we were seated immediately ordered soon after getting our table. We ordered 3 waters, and a modelo, 2 orders of rice and a combo number 1. Our drinks came out quickly and FYI there is a fifty cent charge for water. Our food took forever to come out, 3 other tables who came after us got their food before us, we inquired about our order and finally received our seafood but had to again wait for our rice. This used to be our go to place but I think it's time to find a replacement.

Not good. The sauce was watered down. The shrimp and crab was old and falling apart, and the sausage was gross. The service was good though but the food was not.
