My wife had the BLT, and I had the beef quesadilla. Both were delicious and a good sized portion. People were very friendly. We often prefer a smaller place like this over the bigger, fancier, corporate type places.
A late dinner on the sidewalk with fantastic enchiladas. The best we had all week. The pico de gallo was very good and the drinks very tasty on a warm evening. The salsa and chips add a crunch to the dinner. The dinners did come with beans and a corn/salsa/cream. I am not a re-fried bean eater and I didn't try the corn.
We stumbled on this place while looking for a place for a late lunch/early dinner. The food is traditional Mexican (though no mole if you're a fan of that which my mom and I are). It was good enough though we have definitely had better on this trip. I would still recommend it for good food at a reasonable price. The host also sold tours (without the time share attendance requirement) and his prices seemed super reasonable and the sales pitch was not high pressure at all. Overall I'd recommend checking it out.
We stopped for lunch while shopping in old town san jose del cabo. The street sign menu said it all - 3 tacos for $90 pesos (or approx. $5 USD). The price can't be beat and the fish tacos and shrimp tacos couldn't be beat. My daughter got a burger and fries and loved it. Our family of 5 ate for a fraction of the cost of other restaurants. The owner/staff are friendly and helpful. You can choose to sit on the sidewalk or go upstairs to the rooftop dining that has AC on a hot day. Good drinks and great food at an amazing price make this a frequent stop on our Cabo trips.
Sta out side and enjoyed some great margaritas. Jose was a great waiter not to mention a wealth of info about what to do in San Jose del and surrounding areas. Stop in and say Hola to Jose.
