It is soooo disappointing when that happens. Over the years, I have experienced that feeling in certain long standing restaurants. Never at Gloria Maris though. This restaurant has delivered consistent Chinese dishes ever since, which I really appreciate. You know exactly what your order will taste like. This visit was no different and our family ordered staples like the yang chow fried rice, hot and sour soup, assorted dimsum platter, lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, and the peking duck two ways. Everything is served fast, piping hot and with generous servings. Dessert is always the buchi, mango pudding or almond lychee. Light way to end the meal. It is a great place for family gatherings and celebrations. The fact that it is always full is a testament to that. Servers are curt, not too friendly, but extremely efficient. Surroundings are fine. You get great value for money. Still the best traditional Chinese restaurant for me. P.S. The pics came first, as usual...

We had our dinner here. We ordered 2way duck, steam shrimp, coldcuts with crispy pigeon, yangchow, steam lapu lapu, and pumkin seafood soup 2way. Well food was great specially the soup i love the coldcuts. Price abit pricey its almost cost 7k. Place is big. Service is ok.
