L 'Osteria Decanter, is simply amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the great place to unwind and it’s nice. I highly recommend to have a few cocktails or a full meal. L 'Osteria Decanter is a place is a traditional authentic italian trattoria eateries place, with all the service and thoroughness of the large fine dinning restaurant but on small scale. Place with extraordinary taste like 5 star restaurant without the dress code requirement and serve good portions well fair market prices, . The sitting area is open and available for small, medium or large group of people. It has three 2 4 people tables, one “L Shape” corner medium table to accommodated 6 8 people and a large center table to accommodate up to 10 people. On the bar sitting areas they have enough space to fit up to four couples. The menu is also very good and it 's kindly explaining when you will be attended. An 'instant hit ', winning the favor of the public and satisfying customers. The host and the chef are very watchful all the time, checking the orders, working to help manage when people arrive. The host are also experienced bartenders. The time of serving the customers it’s timely. Pleasant smells and savourness come out also with exquisite plate presentation, that makes you want to taste all the menu. My favorite it’s their pasta, the panacota is outstanding, the 'Burrata ' is served in a perfect dressing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the 'Branzino ' is grilled to perfection, octopus and scallops carefully presented. Pasta and bread are homemade and the raviolis, done with different fillings daily. L’Osteria Decanter, Italian, Bar, Pub, Wine Bar its a great place to have a meal and rest for a while before continuing touring the rest of Old San Juan. This is the perfect place to stop and stretch for a little bit and get something to eat, drink some beverages and re fill youself. Highly recommended for anyone passing through this the place if you want to eat something mega rich in authentic italian flavor. The musician only plays the very best Jazz and Blues, attraction that its offered in a regular schedule: Wednesday night starting from 7 10 pm but most the time you can listen to the saxophonist warming up early. Ambiance is casual and romantic and the saxophone player took the mood to another level. The noise is at a minimum, people can enjoy a conversation with the people at your table. The nearest parking is across the street and behind the Cathedral building. It is private parking lot not very big but you can be safe and away of parking ticket. Parking space is a severe problem like any other very old down town area and more in a place built over 500 year ago. This type of commodities in over seas installation were not considered at that time. Most people arrive by walking or take a ride on public shutter that run near by to the main historical site. People come to eat before or after traveling to the historical attraction, but no matter when there is always space to eat. Don’t take my word for granted. It’s my opinion but you can visit the place and make your own experience. You won’t regret it. Featured on social networks places with many Likes and counting. Other written expressions sustaining the same judgement couldn’t be wrong. it 's a very good place to visit, if you are near the area. Samuel García
