Our first visit to Angry Ramen was before the pandemic. They have a long communal table in the center now, and also some new wall décor. Additionally, they no longer give you a customizable order sheet for choosing your ramen's levels of salt, spice, and noodle thickness (among other options). Regardless, we were happy to find that their ramen is practically just as tasty as it was before. My husband got the original tonkotsu (with pork bone broth) and I opted for the black garlic tonkotsu I'd had before. The broths are mellow and not too heavy (unlike at some other joints we've tried), which is great for us. Even so, it was still a bit much for us by the bottom of the bowl, so we missed having the option to customize our broth richness. Their soft-boiled eggs are always made perfectly, the texture of their noodles are great, and we love all the toppings and proteins we get. No complaints!
Excellent ramen and katsu curry chicken, maybe the best I've had outside of Japan
Angry ramen gives you the option to customize your dish they have a easy to read menu the staff are very friendly and help you with any questions for first timers. The spicy level goes from 1-5 and you can even ask for more spicy depending on your tasting. They do not offer carry out and it’s for good reason since this ramen should be enjoyed with time and at this atmosphere. Who ever says this isn’t authentic ramen is wrong.
Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start... This place has a delicious tonkotsu broth that is just perfectly combined with eh chewy ramen to create a sensational feeling in your mouth. This place deserves a five stars ans I really recommend this place!
