Baskin Robbins - San Marcos

I've visited numerous Baskin Robbins locations across the country, but this one stands out as one of the best! The staff was fantastic; they welcomed me warmly and offered samples of anything I wanted. Although they were training a new employee, which caused a slight delay with my order, everything was completed perfectly and tasted great! I was so impressed that I returned a few days later to order a cake. The manager, Chris, was incredibly helpful and a joy to work with! Our cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for excellent service and delicious ice cream.

This ice cream shop offers some of the best ice cream around. However, it seems like they often run short on cups for shakes and certain ice cream flavors. During our recent visit, we wanted to order two large chocolate shakes, but they were out of large cups. On our previous visit, they didn't have any chocolate ice cream at all.

The customer service was outstanding! However, the restaurant itself was quite messy and not well maintained, particularly behind the counter. The young lady who assisted us was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. She went above and beyond her responsibilities, ensuring that customers were well taken care of.

Accessibility: lots of parking available, but no specific handicap parking. Also did not see a ramp to get onto the sidewalk unfortunately. The parking lot is always pretty so be careful going through here. The door to enter the building is a single pull door and it's a little bit heavy. Experience: going up to this place, one of the first things I noticed was the cute door handle! It's a big pink spoon! I have been to many Baskin-Robbins but this is the first one I have seen with this fun door handle! Absolutely love it. Coming inside, it is very empty inside. All the tables are pushed to the side and there are no chairs. There is a sign up that says no indoor dining (8-22-2021 , but there are 3 tables outside the store, on the side of the store, with chairs attached to the tables (you cannot move them . There were two people/women working today and they were super kind, greeting me the second I came in, answering all my questions and laughing and talking with me. Excellent customer service! These two people seemed like they enjoyed being there and it was really a pleasant experience inside! I ordered a chocolate shake to go and it was great. : Thank you to this Baskin-Robbins and these two awesome employees!

Went in and the employees were eating, which is fine I get it but then the woman proceeded to scoop my ice scream with ungloved hands after eating with her hands and sushi of all foods!!!! Employees seriously need to be retrained about food and health hazards.
