Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - San Marcos

I had the T-Bone. It was supposed to be medium rare. I'm not sure how they managed to get part of it medium rare and another part medium and still another part closer to medium well but they did. Also, the flavor was not very good. I have had steaks at other Cheddars restaurants that were perfect but this time the food was not as good.The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean.

The ribs were so good...had the slaw and rice. Both were great.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The food was served promptly and in generous portions, all of which tasted delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes at this restaurant, especially since many places are cutting back to keep prices low. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning!

Take out to go order for the first time on Sunday. I ordered the Monte Cristo and don't often say this about food but I am in love! I don't eat fried food very often but the description of this sounded so good on the website I went for it. The description didn't even do it justice! I also was only able to eat one half of it so I had the other half to heat up for lunch today as well. It was just as good next day. I still won't eat fried food often but when I do I am going to get this. It was out of this world.I was able to change the side from the default fries to coleslaw. Their coleslaw was delicious too.
