Hooked On Sushi - San Marcos

The restaurant has a strong unpleasant odor that was hard to ignore.

Was a regular in encinitas for years when I lived so close and I loved eating and the mood. that was, in my opinion, a great failure. very cold and uninviting feeling, and although the girl felt that I did not dig the device, she seemed like I wasn't the only one with the feeling and said they would change it. I certainly miss my encinitas spot and have sushi hulu for descent sushi, good atmosphere and great price point, and unami sushi for hands down best quality in san marcos, although the price reflects that. sad to see that such an investment missed the brand.

Not that great of sushi for a dedicated sushi place...no sushi chef just a cook and some college kids. Rice was dry.

I only tried the TNT Super Mario sushi rolls and they were absolutely delicious. The rolls had a crispy roasted swirl on top that added a nice crunch. The staff member at the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending these tasty rolls.

This is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in North County. The San Marcos location has a different atmosphere compared to the ones in Encinitas and Carlsbad, but the sushi and service are consistently excellent. The only thing that would make us visit more often is if they were open on Sundays.
