Perk Up - San Marcos

I have an excellent latte and a very nice roasted almond butter and strawberry sandwich. I'm a 275 pound guy, so everything seems to be small to me... I'm not gonna keep it against these people. A small latte (10-12 oz I think) and the sandwich was about $11. A little expensive, but you don't really go to coffee shops expect more cheap prices. People in all seemed positive and energetic. This is surprisingly important when you stop picking up.

Perk Up offers a wonderful atmosphere and even better coffee. It's an ideal place for conversation, reading, or studying. The friendly owners and reasonable prices match the high quality of their drinks. I really enjoyed the almond butter and the sandwich (the AB).

Nice little place, good coffee, very fresh and healthy food. They offer breakfast and lunch as well as smoothies and of course a variety of coffee and tea drinks.

What happened next was impressive. The owners responded to me professionally and courteously while I was still there. They offered to remake the juice and explained that it hadn’t met their standards since they were still training their staff. They shared what their standard is and even called the staff in that moment to have them remake my orange juice while I waited. The outcome? I was left as a satisfied customer, enjoying a proper, delightfully fresh squeezed orange juice. I will definitely be returning. Super cool spot! They have a SO many unique flavors. I tried the Nutella and it was delicious not super overwhelming of a Nutella flavor, just right.
