Umami - San Marcos

I love sushi, and this restaurant done it the best so far, my first time here and I will be coming for back for more, the price was well worth it, great service

This is probably one of the best japanese spots in southern California. One of the few places I have had ramen that actually tastes like what I had in Japan a few years ago.

A new and clean sushi restaurant with an extensive offering of sushi, sashimi, cut rolls, and lunch/dinner specials. A mixed crowd of college students and families, both indoor and outdoor seating (with patio heaters! . Tasty food, relaxed atmosphere, and blazing fast service. Did I mention clean bathrooms? Recommended for casual sushi.

Great food and a lot of menu options ranging from ramen, sushi, sashimi, bao, bento, and various combinations. Prices are descent (anything with fish tends to be more expensive than the ramen or bao), plus they have different lunch and dinner prices for combos/bentos. It was nice sitting outside on their patio. Service was quick as well. Great experience!

This restaurant is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to discover such exceptional sushi at a campus eatery, but the reviews encouraged us to give it a go. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The rolls with krab had a delightful sweetness that we all adored, setting them apart from other establishments. The Dynamite roll was particularly creative; instead of the usual thick, broiled sauce on top, they fry the roll and drizzle it with spicy mayo, then top it off with fried shrimp and scallops. It was visually spectacular! Overall, everything we tried was impressive.
