I heart BAMBU! San Mateo Downtown surely turning into an area worth visiting for sweet tooth foodies! Not only it's something different, they also offer many unique concoctions of rainbow-colored drinks that are surprisingly refreshing and ridiculously delicious : My favorite picks from Bambu are #6 and #10 both with a coconut milk base ! For #10, I love the texture of these drinks from the wobbly and squishy pandan jellies to the firmer grass jellies. Mix all that with crunchy red tapioca and it tastes amazing!! If you prefer additional fruits in your cup, #6 has jack fruit, lychee, longan, long strips of coconut and palm seeds. I personally like this better than the rest since it has everything! Plus, having all the fruits just make it that much more refreshing. The drinks are quite affordable $5.xx and so worth it considering it was a filling dessert that leaves my belly full! On the weekends, this place can get quite busy, but thankfully the service was quick and friendly. Not the most hippest dessert place you can think of in term of ambiance, but their drinks are so worth it you'll fall in love!
