Bay View Cafe - San Mateo

First of all, the food is fantastic! I've tried the sandwich wraps, several breakfast plates, and the salads, and everything has been flavorful, served hot, and accompanied by a warm smile—something that's often missing in today's world. I strongly recommend this place for satisfying your lunchtime cravings. The coffee here is delicious, too. If you don’t enjoy the Bay View Café, you’re missing out on a treat for your taste buds!

I had a terrible experience at this café. The manager, who has a rather unapproachable demeanor, served me egg rolls that unfortunately contained a hair. When I returned to discuss the unsanitary condition of the food, I was disappointed to find that I did not receive a full refund, and the manager seemed upset with me for bringing the issue to her attention. I decided to leave without causing a scene, especially since the café was quite busy. When I later attempted to clarify the situation, she hung up on me. This is the second time I've encountered a problem here, and I definitely will not be coming back. I encourage others to be cautious about the food offered at this café.
