Jeffrey's - San Mateo

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I found a simple burger that met my dietary needs and was also very delicious. They offer homemade-style gluten-free buns and ask how you prefer your burger cooked; I chose medium rare, and it turned out perfectly. The sweet potato fries were also great—seasoned just right and not overly salty, unlike many places. The decor has a clean, classic American diner feel, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable for San Mateo. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Fantastic burgers in a stylish retro diner atmosphere. The fries and onion rings are incredible too! If I’m not mistaken, I could almost swear they were fried in tallow.

Jefferey's is an excellent choice if you're looking for good quality food at an affordable price. I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and every time I go, I leave feeling satisfied with my experience.

Delicious burgers, great shakes, terrific fries, including sweet potato fries. You can get burgers with out a bun, either in a bowl or wrapped in lettuce.

AHHMAZING. Best Cheeseburger around! I'm not a huge meat eater, but I was having a craving for a cheeseburger for lunch and it was by far the best cheeseburger I have ever had outside of grilling my own.<br/ <br/ Was in and out in about 10min.
