Las Palomas Taqueria - San Mateo

My family and I ordered takeout from Las Palomas last Monday, and I’ve been dealing with digestive issues ever since. I'm not sure what’s changed with the Super Burritos, but they seem significantly smaller now. The flavors of the ingredients also taste different. The previous location was fantastic, so it's really disappointing to see how things have declined. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but since the move, the quality has taken a noticeable dip. It's a real shame because the Super Burritos used to be incredible. I think I’m done dining here. Rest in peace, Las Palomas (Old Location). As for parking, I didn’t pay, but they do seem to expect it.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I've been dining at this restaurant at least twice a month for the past 20 years. The owners are incredibly kind.

I had two chicken enchiladas with refried beans and a salad, and they were exactly how I like them. You also get to enjoy the salsa bar for extra toppings and chips. They offer a bit of sour cream as well, which is great for cooling down your mouth if your dish is a bit spicy. That certainly works for me!

I don't review taquerias often, but this one really impressed me. I got the carnitas super burrito ? and it was delicious. And a good price compared to other nearby

I've been visiting this taqueria since I was a little girl and I absolutely adore the family that runs it. The food is made fresh every day. Their Carnitas are among the best in San Mateo, CA. The prices are great, and they always offer free chips and salsa. I highly recommend this taqueria!
