Little Shanghai - San Mateo

The dining experience is fantastic at this restaurant. We have been twice now and were not disappointed either time. The service is good, but I would recommend going when they are less busy to avoid longer wait times for service.

A group of four of us, including my mother and a friend who is a regular at this restaurant, went for a late Saturday lunch. It was a more enjoyable and entertaining experience than my previous visit, thanks to my friend's guidance. They mentioned that parking was available, but the limited spots meant we had to park our vehicles on nearby streets.

I love the food at this restaurant, but the parking situation is not great. The parking lot is small, so it's best to go after the lunch and dinner rush. I ordered the beef tendon clay pot and rice cake with pickled vegetables. The beef tendon was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth - chewing was optional. The rice cake with pickled vegetables was equally delicious, with the chewy and soft rice cake complemented by the refreshing pickled vegetables. I would definitely go back, but only after the busy meal times.

Nice Shanghai restaurant. Decent food and friendly staff/service. Pan fried bun is highly recommand. All vegetables are fresh and not greasy Will visit again soon.
