Par 3 At Poplar Creek - San Mateo

I've been to this restaurant a number of times. Nice menu and the food is very good and good portions. We were a table of five they're celebrating a birthday. Server messed up the drink orders as well as everyone served except the birthday girl so I had to go up to the bar and order for her. Server was slow and not very attentive... She had trouble understanding our orders. She did bring a complementary birthday dessert. Regardless, we will be back because on Friday we always have a great server and we come often on Fridays because there's a band.

I have been to Par 3 several time with my girlfriends and it never disappoints. The delicious pork nachos are worth the trip by itself and they have a large selection on their menu. Also love the full bar with very good cocktails. We ate lunch there yesterday and will be returning soon.

Yummy brunch menu. Settled on the breakfast sandwich with fruit. Ate outside. It was a lovely day.

Beautiful day, perfect for a 10:30 am brunch with out of town friends. We chose this spot based on positive reviews, extensive menu selections and cocktail options. Service was SLOW even though it was early and not busy, it took 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive and ask if we wanted water in the meanwhile watching other diners recently seated (after we were) receive immediate attention. When we did finally order it was not correct and consequently one of our party got the wrong breakfast, she was gracious and decided not to make it a big deal. Quality of the food was disappointing, very low grade. The final nail was being reminded several times there is a 90 minute limit for seating so we needed to hurry . Needless to say we won 't return.

Had a great meal here. Good basic menu with lots of choices. Server very at tentative. He made it a very nice dining experience.
