Poke Island Creasian Kitchen

I was here a few times. eating is delicious, service is great and decoration is beautiful. it is located in the beautiful city of San mateo near san mateo train station. if they come with the car, they can park on the street or even in public park at the downtown caltrain station. they have two large bowls and they can choose among cooking suggestions or make their own poke. also they offer some hot teller and suppen.

Would definitely come back. very attentive and friendly service, wonderful food and what beautiful decor! love them, as the dishes also match the decor. so thoughtful. amazing and would order again: *furikake lachs. wow taste like butterfish *hulihulihuli huh. so smoky, taste a bit like a whistle *poke bowl with wasabi hamchi good: *laulau. very good. enjoyed the sweet in it, but not the best ever would jump next time: *mochiko huhn

Delicious food! taste very fresh and light, but completely satisfying. our waitress was super chatting and friendly. the facility was clean, bright, cheerful and unmatched with orchids, local flowers and shiny aquamarin.

Low profile spot that never fails to impress (at a good price point and with nice ambiance to boot so one can truly enjoy food and beer/sake at a leisurely pace). Hubby loves the shoyu tuna and hamachi in the poke bowl. Great grilled meat dishes and butter mochi is a memorable dessert. Very friendly service too. Check it out!

Ordered spicy salmon poke bowl. Their salmon is pretty spicy. Good size if you want just a light lunch. I wish they have little bit more beens or vege there. But with the price, good value.
