Tabla Indian San Mateo

We stopped to eat on our way back from San Francisco, and I have to say, it was a great experience. To start with the highlight, this is perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know that offers complimentary chai (Indian tea with milk), and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered chole bhatura (fried Indian bread served with chickpeas), and it was excellent. We also tried pav bhaji (bread served with a spicy Indian vegetable curry), which was decent. Overall, I would rate this place 5 out of 5 because the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was impressively fast–only 15 minutes!

I've been dining at Indian restaurants in the USA for 20 years, and I can confidently say that this is the best Indian food I've had in at least five years. Everything was excellent! I appreciate the portion sizes, the prices, and, most importantly, the flavor of the dishes. Indian cuisine is my favorite, and this place truly delivers outstanding Indian food! I'll definitely be returning!

The paneer biryani here is outstanding and served in generous portions. The restaurant offers ample seating, and they even provide complimentary tea, which is delicious.

One of my favorite places for biryani in the bay area! as an ardent biryani fan I have tried a lot of restaurants with chickenbiryani and these hands below is among the most popular places. I've tried the Chicken-Dom biryani there it's delicious. perfect mix of arome and quantity, that is one must try!

We had our Housewarming party food ordered from Tabla restaurant and they are very courteous and helpful with choosing Menu and very responsive for each and every question we had. Our party food was a very big hit and each and every item including starters to biryanis and rotis are exceptionally delicious. One of the best and quality food we tasted in recent times. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for new and authentic Indian food.
