Excellent food! Quick service! Affordable prices with generous portions! The kids were delighted by the 70 mm paper dosa—definitely a must-try. The samosas and mint chutney were full of flavor. This has been the best restaurant we've visited in San Francisco so far. Plus, the masala tea is complimentary!

The food was fantastic! It's an excellent spot for dosa. The chutney was especially delicious. We ordered the onion dosa and parotta with kurma, and both were superb. They also serve a decent biryani. On top of that, they provide complimentary tea. This is the go-to place for great Indian food in the area!

I've dined at many Indian restaurants while living in the Bay Area, and this one ranks at least in the top three—if not number one, in terms of food. The samosa chaat is delightful, with crispy bits that add texture. The naan is buttery, flaky, and incredibly soft. The kids' dosa with cheese was surprisingly delicious, paired perfectly with the coconut sauce. The veg korma, which is always my favorite, includes paneer here! The sauce strikes a lovely balance—slightly sweet and just a touch spicy. The chicken tikka masala was also excellent; the chicken was juicy, unlike many other places where it tends to be dry. It even had a hint of smokiness. They also offer complimentary masala chai! We will definitely be returning, even though I live nowhere near San Mateo!

Average but flavorful food. I would want to give them a 4.5 star for service as it was quick and the staff which was extremely courteous. If you are in the area and craving for decent Indian food, this place won’t disappoint you.

We had gone for dinner on the way back from SF. First of all I?ll start from the best. This is perhaps the only Indian restaurant I know that has chai (Indian tea with milk) on the house and the chai was fantastic. We had ordered chole bhatura (deep fried Indian bread with garbanzo beans) and it was outstanding. We also had ordered Pav Bhaji (bread with a spicy Indian curry) and it was decent. Overall I would rate it 5/5 because the staff were super friendly, food was tasty and service was reasonably fast (15 mins).
