I recommend the shakshuka and the lavender cake! we appreciate the recommendations that the chef eduardo zorrilla gave us, and also the service that the waiter eduardo had with us....We will definitely visit andanza very soon.
I can't even begin to say how superb the pork belly was. Great service, huge variety of food and super relaxed.
We recently enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Andanza Restaurant in the Belmond Sierra Nevada. Perfect margaritas and delicious Mexican food. We live in San Miguel and we’re always looking for a perfect getaway in our lovely town. The service was attentive without being obtrusive, allowing...us to enjoy our meal and conversation. Enrique, the Manager on Duty is the perfect host. He makes you feel special and at home. We will be back frequently! Saludos from Mexico
I just can't say enough about this beautiful hotel / resort. overall, it is the best hotel in which I have ever stayed. a very nice staff. beautiful property and our suite was epic and when there is food! when I'm from san diego, I'm at great. Mexican food and tacos used to, but the kitchen in andanza was the best I've ever experienced. beautiful evening dinner by ceaser and eduardo during dinner, there was service 10 out of 10! and angles and alejandro to breakfast and lunch made us like royal feeling! the entire staff felt so special during our stay, including the always professional and gracious enrique hotel manager. Actually, this whole stay was the best ever and if they stay in another hotel in san miguel, they must stop at the andanza for a nice meal. Make sure to arrive a bit early and have a cocktail in the “blue bar” where professional mixologists will try their favorite cocktail and offer other delicious concoctions. the personal is so proud and passionate and they have made our experience from every stay around the world!
This restaurant is in the lobby of a fancy hotel. This is the only place we ate while in San Miguel that was 100% white- no locals at all. generally that is not what we like when we travel, we like to immerse in the...culture of the city we are in; but this place is very good. The menu is very much authentic cuisine and the cocktails were too- try the mezcal. The service was fine dining level and the outdoor seating was just gorgeous.
