If their coffee is as good and flavorful as their soft serve gelato made from carabao milk you bet I'll try it the next time I'm in Pasay, not to mention, the really cheap cakes and pastries! My SIL recommended this place and she got me their vanilla and chocolate combo gelato. What's surprising is that we ordered takeout, walked in the 12:00 heat to the parking area, traversed the EDSA Saturday traffic to get to QC and the gelato stood frozen through it all. The serving's really big for the 55 peso price, I will definitely go back for more.
We decided to have dessert and our officemate recommended the ice cream from this place that used carabao milk. The pricing of the ice cream is cheap. Their smallest costs P55 and it was huge (more like large from other ice cream shops). There's also a smaller P35 that I didn't know about until I got my order. There are two flavors: chocolate and vanilla, but you can have them mixed, which I did and regret. The chocolate tasted so strong and typical, and I wasn't able to taste the vanilla that much. Judging from the little vanilla that I was able to taste, think I would've liked that better. I'll definitely try just the vanilla next time, I have a huge feeling that it's worth another try.
Manila 's Best Coffee is a 'local ' coffee shop that brews up local coffee beans to pair up with not your usual sweets, local rice cakes. It is truly a Filipino concept not only by name. We availed of the Buy 1, Take 1 ice blended drink. I got the Coconut Mango ice blended. It was a sweet, fruity shake with a strong coconuty-fruity flavor from the coconut cream with sweet mangoes as a form of a puree. I kind of like the whole concept, but for my drink it was okay. I would rather appreciate if they would use fresh coconut juice plus some coconut cream to have that natural taste. I would like to return for their coffee drinks. #TheFoodCrawlers
Been passing through here everytime I am at Blue Bay Walk and find it always full. I find it interesting for this coffee shop to promote the Filipino brew. The interiors are very comfortable and showcasing beans and designs of the Filipino. We were looking for a sweet ending to our meal so we decided to drop by. My wife ordered the Tea Latte. The teas is an Indian-based tea and has a strong cardamon flavor. I just tried the Karaleto, a carabao milk soft-served gelato. I wanted like a really small sample so I ordered the regular. It was like a cup of gelato that is pressed into the cup. Great and refreshing taste. For only Php55, this is a truly worth it.
Following a 4 hour wait long from a wedding to the reception, we had to find a decent place along Manila where we wouldn't be judged wearing a gown for myself and coat and tie for my boyfriend while having a good cup of coffee to kill the sleepiness. Unfortunately, we were still judged. We had no idea how many families spend their afternoons here on a Sunday afternoon just playing around the large grass area of Blue wave. On the brighter side, we found a gem in Manila's Best Coffee shop! We thought for the averagely cheap price, our caffeine fix would be a disaster, we were wrong. I ordered the MBC Signature Caramel Biscuit, their version of the Frappuccino. The coffee was on the sweeter side but the ice was so smoothly shaved that it didn't feel ice blended. It felt like I was sipping ice cream with really small biscuit dusts. It was delicious! I don't remember finishing a cup of coffee that fast! My boyfriend ordered a hot caramel macchiato which turned out to be really good too. The foam was thick but it had that good blend of sweetness and coffee. While we were not able to try any of the food, what was interesting was the very Filipino dessert options you can choose from. Very enticing to be served bibingka or ube with your choice of drink! Everything would've been perfect since the location even offers free parking to customers. If you want a great place to people watch with a good cup of coffee, I highly suggest Manila's Best Coffee!
