Ukai Japanese Bistro - San Ramon

Delicious! I really enjoy coming here for lunch. The bentos are fantastic, and they offer generous portions. The kids' meals are also appropriately sized. We would definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I stumbled upon it after a hike in the area and was immediately transported to an authentic Japanese dining experience. We came in for a late lunch, and the fish was incredibly fresh! Every sushi roll practically melted in my mouth. The staff was very attentive as well. I highly recommend it! We tried a few rolls, and our favorites were the Cherry Blossom, Hurricane, and Lion King. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30.

I've been dining at this restaurant since its opening, and it's a wonderful family-owned Japanese establishment that emphasizes fresh ingredients and creative recipes. A few of my favorites are the Ukai Combo sashimi, Agadashi Tofu, Kaarage Chicken, Spicy Chicken, and the Ms. White roll, among others. The fish is consistently fresh, and the chicken is juicy and perfectly seasoned. I truly adore Ukai!

My go-to spot for lunch serves up amazing food, hearty portions, consistently outstanding service, and great prices. I particularly loved the Teriyaki beef and the different sushi rolls. I highly recommend checking it out. Food rating: 5/5.

The food here is incredibly delicious, bursting with rich flavors and smooth textures. The warmth of the noodles and broths is simply fantastic. I can hardly wait to come back and sample more dishes! The staff is genuinely happy to serve everyone, and you can see the smiles on their faces as they enjoy their own meals. The food is so good that it leaves you wanting to moan with pleasure!
