China Kitchen - Sandpoint

Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. Was mainly bell peppers, onion and celery. Very little chicken, peanuts or zucchini. Dry, not much marinade. Lady working was very very very RUDE. Had to pay extra for steam rice. Will never go back. Why would I?

This was probably the worst Chinese food I?ve ever eaten. Three separate dishes. Mongolian Chicken, chicken chow mein, almond chicken. Each dish was incredibly flavorless, like if a wizard just magically zapped all flavor from them. Was really quitestunning. Also extremely oily. Chicken had a weird soft slippery texture as well.Like two almond slivers in the ?almond chicken?too. Sorry no pictures. I couldn?t fit the trash can in the shot, which is where the order ended up.

After moving away, we came back for a visit and decided to get food from China Kitchen again. It was just as wonderful as we remembered. Thanks to Don and Sue.

I found the female cashier to be efficient, no nonsense, and a bit haggard. The pace of things on her side of the counter was tremendous. The phone was ringing the whole time. As a result, she didn't have time for pleasantries. While there are places tosit inside, they make it very clear that it is take-out only. You can take your food outside and sit at one of two metal tablesthough. I'd call ahead next time and there definitely will be a next time. The food was great, expertly packaged for transport,and ready to go on time.

Great chicken and vegetable fried rice. Liked their egg rolls too. Only took 10 minutes once I placed my order. Fresh.
