Texas Roadhouse - Sandusky

The restaurant was definitely not up to the standard of Longhorn. It was crowded, even though it used to be the best in the city. The steak was cooked correctly, but the side dishes left much to be desired. My wife's rice was overcooked hours ago. The waitress disappeared and the shrimp on my sirloin was soggy. This was the first time in my 67 years that I didn't even finish my meal at a restaurant. Overall, it was a terrible experience. We won't be returning, and I'm sure many others will feel the same way.

I ordered 5 meals for pickup 90 minutes later, but arrived 5 minutes early and waited about 20 minutes past the designated time. Not all items were prepared correctly. The owner personally reached out to apologize and rectify the situation. I am happy with the resolution and have removed my negative review. We will return, as everyone deserves a second chance. Life is too short to dwell on small inconveniences.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. However, we were disappointed by the host staff, particularly Izzy, who was rude and seated at least 6 groups of people who arrived after us. We were aware of the new rule about not seating half parties, but found it to be ridiculous. We had come to meet friends from the city who were regular customers and ordered extra drinks. Despite the great food, we waited in our car for half an hour and then an additional 40 minutes for a table. This experience was not worth it, especially since we witnessed older people being treated poorly while waiting. Although we understand that the staff are young, the manager should be aware of how poorly they treat customers. Despite our frustration, we may consider returning as we had a positive experience with the previous manager.

Service was great. we didn't have to wait too long. her American burger was good. filet medaillen were also quite good. I have a Ceaser salad as a side. the salat was limp and there was so little dressing that I honestly couldn't even taste it. everything was good. will return. make sure to ask extra dressing.

My favorite place to visit. The ribs are amazing. The rolls and butter they serve is wonderful. Service is always great.
