The Gaucho The Gringa - Sandusky

I ate here three times with my boys during a 3 day trip to Cedar Point in October. The crowds were sometimes huge, with long food waits all over the park. This might have been a slightly longer wait than other trucks, but not by a lot. The cost for a meal is about the same all over the park, and I don’t think is controlled by the food truck operators; a meal in the park will be more expensive no matter where you get it from. The food was better than everything else we had in the park pretty darn good and interesting burgers. And, the owner/operators of the truck (the actual “gaucho” and “gringa” were there in person, working really hard with the crazy crowds. Despite this, they remained the nicest ,most friendly, and helpful people, funny and cheery up to the end when everyone was ready to collapse. Thanks for adding to our great trip Cheers!

While the wait here was slightly longer than at some other food trucks, it wasn’t by much. Meal prices are generally consistent across the park, and I don't think the food truck operators set those prices; meals will be pricier no matter where you eat inside the park. The food here was definitely better than what we tried elsewhere—really delicious and unique burgers. Additionally, the owner/operators, the actual "gaucho" and "gringa," were on-site working incredibly hard despite the hectic crowds. They remained the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful people throughout the day, maintaining their humor and cheerfulness even when everyone was exhausted. They might be great when they’re not at Cedar Point. The restaurant has a unique appearance and claims to have an Argentine influence in their dishes. I ordered a hot dog with spicy mustard and was surprised to find it was just regular French’s yellow mustard. The service was very slow, but I don’t mind if the staff seems to be genuinely working hard to serve customers.
