Vista do aeroporto a partir do terraço.
Where do I start.Found this place through TA. I don't think you would otherwise, unless you lived here.We were staying in Santa Cruz and Google maps suggested it was a minute drive from our hotel, or a hour walk! As we were on foot, we thought there has to be a way' (other than including minutes along a dual carriageway).Apple maps came up trumps (hard to believe, I know) and navigated us though a housing estate, several noisy territorial hounds and a lot of hills. So we had a bit of a thirst on when we arrived. It looks like a house that's been converted into a down-market pub.Service was initially indifferent, but latterly we were plied with miniature platters of cheese and ham with our beers. The place started to fill up big time so we became glad we'd arrived early. We eventually ordered food. The menu was small; good. We had laminated beef (no idea, lost in translation), mussels (huge) chicken and chips. All perfectly tasty.I forgot to say. The wine selection is enormous. Totally disproportionate to the scale of the operation. We were recommended a fantastic bottle and charged a ridiculously low price for it. The staffing numbers increased as the place filled up. They got increasingly friendly. We left with our jaws on the floor at how low the bill was. We suspect this is why it's on TripAdvisor.Summary: bonkers. Just go. (If it's physically possible).
