The evening started off very exciting with great home made beer and sausage. The orders were meat with a fillet and sirloin and a chicken cordon blue. The sirloin was tough and the waiter commented that it was fresh meat??? When the steak was sent to the kitchen to sample… the waiter commented that all thought it was amazing. So no steak and paid for it! Could buy a much better steak at Continente!! What a pity that waiters have so little client service skills and argue non-stop. Making it difficult to return…
A pleasant restaurant with good service. The presentation of the dishes was original and the interior was interesting. I tried the black scabbardfish with banana, which was so good. It's a dish that's not always easy to get right, but in this restaurant, they did a great job! Definitely a strong recommendation.
Nice location, with plenty of parking, and polite and attentive staff. Excellent menu the Garlic Steak was the best meal I had anywhere on Madeira, and no more expensive than most restaurants around. The whole place is clean and nicely maintained, and has live music (remarkably good) on Thursday.
We ate salmon with asparagus risotto and spaghetti Bolognese and both were very tasty. Nice atmosphere as well with some relaxing background music. All waiters were very friendly. We would go back, too bad we went there on our last day!
