Try the prickly pear margarita or their house special, which had an amazing apple flavor. By far my favorite was the flan we had for dessert, it was rich and creamy but also airy and had the best caramel, egg flavor. And it was beautiful! Highly recommend trying this place.
The chips, queso, salsa and avocado dip were good. Be aware they have zero air conditioning and the place was miserable. Our waitress was new and doing her best. The combination plate I ordered was absolutely awful. The taco must have sat for a while because it was soggy and I couldn't even pick it up. The rest of the plate was luke warm at best which is weird because the restaurant was 105 degrees . The cheese was not melted and clumpy. The tamale was dry and tasteless. The cheese enchilada was terrible. I'm embarrassed as a New Mexican that they are serving the food they are serving. Ironically, the burger my girlfriend ordered was good. She enjoyed, but the fries were cold. Definitely, not worth the trip or the price.
A true New Mexican experience. Skip Tomasita’s and make the beautiful drive up here! The food and service are amazing as is the venue.
The food is good here. The restaurant is nice and clean. Patios are exceptionally bright and cheerful.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice even without air conditioning. We had to wait over an hour for food, when we reminded someone we were there, our food was lukewarm and mushy. Food was edible but not very good. We kinda just picked at it and left. They gave us a free drink and 10% off. Not satisfied. I rarely rate lower than 3-4 stars but this experience unfortunately deserves 2/5
