Chef Rafael Carrasco was amazing and cooked tasty and healthy vegan and raw food for us. He made us different soups (pumpkin/cinnamon, vegetable, mushroom, carrot, tomato), chickpea pad thai, mushroom pad thai, roasted vegetables, cucumber tzaitki, charcoal bread, seed bread, mushroom risotto, courgetti, fermented cashew cheese, coconut butter, raw carrot cake, raw mango lime cheesecake, mango sorbet. Along with this at the buffets for breakfast there was cereals, bread, homemade jams, detox juices, dried fruit and nuts, steamed vegetables, fruit, oat/soya/rice/hazelnut milk. At lunch and dinner there were bean stews, roasted and steamed vegetables, half of the salads were vegan, fruit, sorbets. He is a very passionate and friendly chef and extremely enthusiastic about vegan and raw cooking, he created very healthy and tasty dishes for us at lunch and dinner, and his cheesecake is one of the best I have ever tasted.

Very good, early roles were the best I ever had.
Absolute shambles! In a nutshell. The only vegan options were steamed veg and chips. Asked the head Tui rep if something can be done since this hotel said it caters to vegans. Was told to ask for the head chef at dinner to have something made for us. Got food poisoning, I was so ill I had to go to medical and cancel our day trips. Couldn’t even stomach the pathetic food they put out for vegans. Food was labelled as vegan but then when looking at it, it contained cheese or chicken!? Spoke to the rep again and the rep says “what’s vegan again no dairy but eats meat” to another rep as I’m stood there. Then we got offered A WEEK into our holiday when I was still ill, a free go at one of the two restaurants in the hotel one of which has NO VEGAN options on the menu. We were told in our Tui meeting on the first day that pool bar does food for dietary requirements such as vegan or gluten free such as avocado on toast. When we asked at the pool bar what vegan food they had the staff gave us attitude saying nothing and they don’t make the menus. Overall why is a hotel advertising that they cater to vegans when they simply DO NOT. The tiny shop over the road however had vegan butter, burgers, sausage, Avocado and lots of options. So veganism is known in this country
